How is your emotional health?
As a society we tend to focus on physical health, encouraged to eat right, get enough sleep and work out.
On the other hand when it comes to our emotional health most people want to take the easy way out and medicate themselves.
Lets think about that for a moment.
For great physical health you need to make sure that you treat your body well by eating properly, taking time to work out and physically exercising your body, along with the proper amount of sleep. This combination seems to be a good start for getting your physical health into great shape. And we know that takes time, patience and dedication.
So as a society what do we do to take care of our mental health?
I don’t know this for sure but I would have guess… many live in a state of fear and denial and others self medicate by popping a pill or having a drink….
It certainly saves on time, not having to deal with the emotions within that truly prevents us from living the full life we are meant to live! And for some it prevents us from living life that we yearn to embrace…
Why not take a moment and ask yourself are you emotionally available?
Is your emotional state of mind equally as fit as your physical health?
If it is, wonderful , if it’s not come up with a life plan that will allow your emotional health to be all you desire it to be!
