On The Road Again!

I was called a gypsy by a sweet dear friend the other day…
I guess because I love to be on the road … Truth be known I’ve been bored here in Rochester for years… Maybe it’s my status of being single, maybe living in the same town Forever, maybe I just love to explore… ( my hearts desire would be to explore with a wonderful life long partner!)

I love to see the world from a view most take for granted, or don’t have time to stop and see the beauty of the sights all around…

I was told I’m a creator of Love, Awe and Wonder a description of what a stranger (at the time) saw in me, which makes me smile!

This posting was inspired by the picture I posted…
It was taken in the car ( I was the passenger Margie!) but the beauty of this picture made me realize the God given gifts that surround us all the time…

This picture can be anything and anywhere you want it to be!

I was sitting on the other side of the room when I spotted this leaf….

Same seat, same plant, same room…
Months and years, same environment

But today I saw the one leaf that stood out!

This heart shape leaf, another sign that God is always close by ! : )

87 years old and still saying
” Eat!”
I can’t help but chuckle at the picture below …

I went for a visit to see my parents the other day, and of course my mom wanted me to eat or did she just want to feel like she was useful and feed me? I’m not even sure….

But I wasn’t hungry, so she came out side with her food trying to convince me to try something ….

I can’t help but smile at this picture and her love to feed everyone who enters her home!

Aging…The Club

I am blessed to still have my parents.
88 and 87…. Living, loving, and totally Bored!

I asked my dad what he did a few weeks ago and he said he went for a drive “30 miles to nowhere “

Yesterday I asked him what’s new, he told me he joined the ” Do Nothing Club” they do nothing all day…

He smiled and I know he’s bored…
We laughed, smiled some more
I asked what does the club serve for dinner he said ” left overs” …

Meet Jordan

Not your typical 2 1/2 year old… Or is he?

As I was shopping at the outlet mall, I was in one of my favorite stores, The Coach Store…

A little boy named Jordan walk by me with a large Coach bag in one hand and an IPhone in the other…. With a huge Smile Saying ” goodbye “

I thought OMG this is too much a 2 1/2 year old attached to an iPhone and his mothers Coach bag … Life seems to be getting crazier and crazier….

Whatever happened to tinker toys and old fashioned stuffed animals ?

I had to stop and take his picture
( with permission from mom of course) he was so cute and attached to both items ….

Whatever happened to a kid carrying around his “blankie” ?

In wonder….

Love doesn’t have to include another person, although there’s nothing like being in love…

Life shares love daily,
if you seek you will find…

I seem to be reminded often of love, by hearts that show up here and there in the oddest places…

I wonder how many people are too busy missing signs from God…

I find hearts everywhere.. The middle of a tomato ( well my friend found that one) biting into my poached egg, in a tree stump, a potato chip, a leaf…. I could go on and on, the latest my daughter sent me was a drop of water from a water fountain…

Had she not been aware of my love of seeing hearts…. that someone passed forward that gift to me,
she too would have missed a sign from God…

Hearts represent Love, God is Love!

No matter where you are in life, look for the hearts that surround you and
know you are Loved!

I’m Reminded…

I am reminded by the people in my life just how truly blessed I am …

As I explore different friendships, each unique in their own special way, I am always amazed at the lessons I am able to learn from them all… Each one knows me on a different level but they all know the true and authentic person I am … My heart is equally shared…

So to ALL the wonderful people who have touched me…. I send to you love and blessings all the days of your life… Thank you all for touching my life in a very special way!
