One particular fall, years ago, I drove down a street I had always driven down. For some reason that day was different. What I saw took my breath away. I was in awe. The vibrant colors of the fall trees were like nothing I had ever witnessed. The colors were stunning.

To this day that moment still stands out in my mind…

So it has me wondering…

Lets be in awe of the beauty that surrounds us everyday…
Live seeing life through eyes filled with vibrant colors…
Be filled with Love, awe and wonder daily…

Remember when…

Life seemed so slow and simple, the winters were filled with snow and fun. We made igloos, snowman and played outside for hours, then we came inside to cookies and hot cocoa… The fresh cool air filled our lungs with life…

That first smell of Springtime, when the birds would sing and you knew “April showers would bring May flowers”…
The end of the school year was almost here… Vacation was just around the corner.

The warmth of the Summer sun was so delightful. Those days where endless,
hours of outdoor fun with friends, no school for 40 months (so it seemed) swimming, BBQ Picnics so much Joy, newness all around… Life was so simple…

Then… there was those special nights at the Drive In theater…
The family, the food, the love, those little animated dancing hotdogs on the huge screen… The speakers were placed in the window, the window was rolled up by hand…
It was a time in life that seem to stand still… A simpler time!

The colors of Fall would arrive… You knew something special was taking place. Fall and its beauty, the crisp air and all the great smells we would come to remember as adults… Apple cider, fresh donuts, grandma, baking something homemade…

Today I am thankful to say
“I can remember when…”

“Today will be tomorrow and tomorrow will be a yesterday …. Live in the moment… Create memories today for tomorrow’s yesterday’s”

In awe of life…

What I do, doesn’t make me who I am,
who I have become, makes me who I am…
And who I have become is a collection of what I have experienced in life.
My experiences tell my life story.
My story is made up from past history and decisions
Many decisions made from what I knew, or what I thought I knew at any given moment…
A moment in time when choices were made without thinking about any consequences.
Thinking there were no consequences because of youth and being invincible.
Realizing invincibility doesn’t exist.
We are who we are, because of who we were, which has made us who we have become…
Do you like who you have become?
And Instead of asking
“what do you do?”
why not ask someone
“what makes you, you?”

I Have to Wonder…

Life being so short and precious
Why would we ever live in any other
emotional state other than Peace, Love and Joy… Life itself being the answer…

Striving daily to see the good in life,
the joy in others and sharing the love you have, is a wonderful place to start…

Life is good, other people may be the issue! Remember not allowing others to steal your Joy benefits you…
Stay filled with Joy spread the Love!

Injustice at its Worst…
The Court System!

I have listened and watched as friends have had to Live with injustice because of New York State court system…
Frankly the legal system sickens me…

Do right, do good have morals get screwed… Shame on NY State, it’s system, the waste of time, money and the lawyers who fatten themselves from the injustice that takes place daily!!!

To anyone who has ever been helpless because of the court, lawyer or judge who plays the role of god…
I say don’t give up …
Justice will prevail!

What the Hell!!!

I got thinking this morning about Time… The time and just how quickly it moves… And then I thought
“if time truly flies what kind of bird would it be?”

Some say the fastest bird is the peregrine falcon…. So time is like the peregrine faclon but this bird only flies the fastest when it is in a hunting dive… So they are not considered the fastest of all birds, the fastest bird overall at the speed of 106 mph is the Spine-tailed swift…

Hmmm… of all the names the fastest flying bird is a bird named Swift

So you could say:

“Time is Swift”

“Time flies as swiftly as the Spine-Tailed Swift!”
