Love Awe Wonder…

Living Life Filled with Love, Awe and Wonder

The Bumble Bee

I saw this bumble bee yesterday in the garden and it had me wondering… So I decided to look up some facts about this incredible creature…
What I found off the Web was interesting…

“Encourage the bumble bee in your garden or farm and she will repay your kindness by pollinating your flowers, fruit and vegetables and giving you an excellent set on your blossom.”

ENCOURAGE a bumble Bee, really?

Well, of course that had me wondering even more…
If we are to Encourage a tiny Bumble bee, it seems like Encouraging each other would be simple, right?
One of the best gift you can ever give someone is words of encouragement!
So why so much discouragement in this world?

And then there was more…

“Generally they will not attack a human at all, unless their life is under threat. Don’t wave your arms wildly in their presence, stand quietly and once they smell you are not a flower with pollen they will move gently away.”

This had me wondering about humans and what happens when we feel attacked… when our lives, egos, and feelings come under attack how we may react… Waving our arms and mouths all around out of frustration…. Hmmm, theres something to be learned from dealing with a bumble bee!

Maybe standing quietly next time there is conflict in your life, like the bumble bee, our foes will gently walk away!!!

In Awe of learning life lessons from a Bumble bee…

“Encourage someone today and be Still when you feel under attack!”

  1. I LOVE this post. The correlation, and therefore the lesson, is spot on. Funny that I thought, halfway through, that maybe you’d call the Bumble Bee the Humble Bee…. Wonderful, Amy.
